The fate of the gunman is also unclear. However, local police said on Twitter “The shooter is in custody,” Law enforcement sources told the media that he was shot dead on the spot.

The attacker was reported to have live-streamed the shooting spree on the Twitch streaming platform. Several graphic screenshots allegedly taken from the current, showing a body lying on the floor and a woman being shot in the head, are being circulated online.
